Nikky is a professional contemporary dance artist based in Melbourne. 

She trained full-time at Transit Dance for 3 years where she completed her Certificate 4 in Dance, as well as her Diploma in Dance and elite performance. Nikky also went on to acquire her Certificate 4 in Dance Teaching and Training. 

Since her studies Nikky has been working professionally in the contemporary dance scene for the last two years in Melbourne and Perth, and most recently worked with Stephanie Lake Company as a Rehearsal Director in St Gallen, Switzerland. 

Nikky has been teaching dance for approx 10 years in many styles, as well as choreography and technical development.

As a little girl Nikky trained at Niddrie Gymnastics at Level 4 before she started her dance journey. Nikky really enjoys the challenge of teaching the art of dance to gymnasts. She finds it fascinating connecting the two worlds of dance and gym together as the language and ideas are similar, though the teaching strategies and delivery differ. 

Nikky really loves discovering a new language between dance and gymnastics with the girls in her sessions. We are extremely lucky to have Nikky at our Club.
